4 Tips Creating your own Newspaper with the New Google News

This is one of the things I love about Google.  You don’t have to wait for updates.  One day you wake up and there is a new Google News layout.

1. News For You – You can now tell your own Google how often you want to read news for each topic you follow.

2. Promote/Demote a Source - Under Settings – News Settings you can tell Google which source you would like to see more and less of.

3. Topic Links – Topic links show up at the top of each section.  You can click them to get more news on a topic.

4. Language and Regions - On the top right there is an ‘edition’ drop down menu.  Pick another country or region for news that interests you.

In addition to these tips, you can also now share any story via email, twitter, facebook, Google Buzz, or Google Reader with a drop down to the right of the article.

There is also a nice sidebar with recent news, local news, and other spotlight items.  Really a great way to start out the day to see what is going on in your world!
